An Awakening Raging Storm

I pray for a storm
to rage outside
and for that storm
to take me away from here.
I cry
as the clouds darken the sky
needing to feel
the cold drops
soak into me
to overflow inside
so I
can not bleed.
The black tears
fall from my eyes
blinding me
from the stormy skies
tearing me up inside
As I fall
As I fall,
and here I am
Screaming for sanity
Screaming for purity
with black tears
covering me
black tears taking
my soul to feed
into an awakening
raging storm.

A Castle and A Queen

You are not a castle
and I am no queen.
I have placed my heart
upon a dream
a dream that no longer lives.

You are not a knight
Not my savior
not my right,
only a dream
A far away dream
of a castle and a queen.

You are not a prince
Nor I a fallen maiden,
hushed by a kiss
upon a fallen raven
to be a dream
A far away dream
of a castle and a queen.

You are not a castle
and I am no queen.
I have placed my heart
upon a dream,
A dream of you
That no longer lives.

She is standing
by a broken tree
looking at her
broken wings
on the ground
her heart breaking
the world raging.
Her cry
disrupted the sky
wings broken
unable to fly.

to do is see you face,
Everyday watching
for you
needing you.

is to hear your voice
hear you say
my name,
everyday waiting
for you
needing you.
All I want
is to smell you
as you stand so close
watching for your smile
waiting for your touch.
All I want
is to see your face
to look for you
to be with you,
for that is all I want,

is you
everyday.

Tip Toe

Tip Toe
I go
To see my sleeping self
Climbing in that bed
To sleep with the girl,
Hearing them outside
Clawing at my window
Tearing at my soul.

Tip toe
I go
To shut them out
Leaving them in the dark
Ignoring their screams
Their scratches on the glass,
Trying to scar us with their mark.

Tip toe
I go
To cover my sleeping self
protecting her
From a continuing wrath,
Slaying the shadows
For them to never touch or stir
This little girl.

Tip toe
I go
To lay over my sleeping self
Straining to keep them away
Always fighting in the night
For my little girl to sleep
And be free
In the night.
