In The Moonlight

I open my eyes
to the night
feeling the call
deep in the moonlight
the wind beckons me
I must follow.

I find myself
in the night
watching for you
in the moonlight
sending the wind
to call your name.

I stand alone
in the night
waiting for you
to bathe in the moonlight
with the wind
singing our name.

  1. i like the interaction with the wind in this...first it beckoning you then the sending it out to call to the other..pretty cool little piece...

  2. the poem draws me in and then the last two words "our name" brings satisfaction and joy that a union already exists or is a sure hope
